Hey!Delete your Hey! account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Hey! and go to your Profile (or Shop for sellers).
- Tap the ☰ menu at the top right.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Without the app
Email support@fuwture.com from the email on your account, with the subject “Delete my Hey! account” and your username or mobile number. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 7 days.
Delete some of your data (keep your account)
- Posts: open the post, tap ⋮ → Delete.
- Stories: open your story, tap ⋮ → Delete. Stories also disappear by themselves after 24 hours.
- Chat messages and voice notes: long-press the message → Delete → Delete for everyone.
- Anything else (for example your location history, verification documents or your phone number): email support@fuwture.com from the email on your account, saying what you want deleted. We delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile, shop page, posts, stories, comments and likes.
- Your chats, voice notes and buyer requests.
- Verification documents and help-service settings.
Everything is removed from our servers within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days. Messages you sent stay visible to the person you sent them to only on their own phone, as with any messaging app. We may keep limited records where the law requires (for example, records of a reported fraud).
